Those of you who read my personal blog, Notes From The Funny Farm, or Bandit’s blog, know that this past weekend I was in Washington, DC for the BlogPaws pet blogging conference.
It was a great time of networking and learning and generally hanging around with other pet writers. Bandit came with me. That provided some material for columns. I learned, for example, that if you are in the parking lot you can hear your dog barking. In your room. On the third floor. On the other side of the hotel.
But I realized one thing while I was there: I need to better define who I am as a writer and what I want to accomplish. I believe that Rochester needs a resource for all things dogs in our community, and while that’s been the goal of this blog, it’s definitely been a neglected goal. Continue reading
